Assigning base software licenses to system ARIDs

For each system, assign the base software license to the system’s base ARID.

To assign base software licenses to system ARIDs:

1. Under Tasks, click Assign a License.

2. Enter the Customer Name in the Name field and then click Retrieve.

3. Click + beside the customer’s ID.

4. Select the option button next to the Base ARID and then click Assign.

5. Enter the Purchase order number in the Search Criteria and click Retrieve.

6. Click + to expand the Purchase order.

7. Assign the system’s base software license to the base ARID.

8. Click Assign and the click Confirm.

9. Review the licenses.

10. Click Apply SWA and select optional software assurance coverage.

11. Click Submit.
