Depending on the site deployment, you may need to create license management groups
Single Product - No group required
MiVoice Business Networks - Designated License Manager Group: Networks of MiVoice Business systems must be grouped together in a Designated License Manager (DLM) group. DLM group licensing allows you to move licenses from one MiVoice Business platform to another within a network of MiVoice Business systems without having to make changes to the individual application records on the AMC for each MiVoice Business.
Site Solution - UCC License Manager Group: A UCC License Manager group is used for site solutions that include the following systems:
MiCollab
MiCollab with Voice
MiVoice Business
MiVoice Business Gateway (MBG)
A ULM can contain one or more MiCollab systems, one MiVoice Business or one DLM, and optional MBGs.
ULMs are assigned a Group Application Record ID that identifies the licenses that are shared (pooled) among the ULM group. A ULM allows the AMC to distribute the individual licenses, including those contained in UCC User License bundles, to the appropriate system server.
Large Site Solutions: To support large site solutions, for example MiCollab and a network of MiVoice Business systems, you create a ULM with a nested DLM.
Assign the base software license and the other required licenses to the system ARID. The AMC License Manager uses the ARID to provide the standalone system with the assigned license entitlements.
