Licenses are available in the following formats:
“À la Carte” where an individual license is required for each instance of a feature or function.
License Packs where individual licenses are sold as a bulk package (for example 50-pack of SIP trunk licenses). Bulk license packs provide a discount to purchasing a similar number of individual licenses. Note that there are restrictions that prevent you from sharing the individual licenses that are contained in a package among customers or products.
License Bundles where different types of licenses are sold together to provide a level of feature functionality. Note that there are restrictions that prevent you from sharing the individual licenses that are contained in a bundle among customers or products.
Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) User Bundles group together the licenses required to support Basic, Entry, Standard, and Premium users in a solution that can include the MiCollab, MiVoice Business, and MiVoice Border Gateway platforms. UCC User Bundles simplify the licensing process because the AMC automatically distributes the component licenses included in the bundle to the appropriate system servers.
Software Assurance (SWA) is a subscription-based service that provides customers with access to new software releases, software upgrades, and product support services on Mitel products.
Mitel licensing can be purchased “à la carte” or in bundles as identified in the Mitel licensing summary report. Bundles and “à la carte” licensing can be mixed and matched. This allows customers to choose only those features that best fit the needs of their employees and allows greater flexibility. However, Mitel recommends that you use UCC User Bundles for user licensing whenever the customer’s solution includes MiCollab and MiVoice Business platforms.
