In the event of assignment errors, you can unassign licenses that meet the following conditions:
if the license has been activated, it must have been done automatically
it must be activated for LESS than 14 days
if the license has NOT been activated, (that is, no password has been downloaded and no system has collected the license key) then it can be unassigned even after the 14 day limit
Note: Unassignment availability is indicated by the highlight colour applied to the product listing.
To unassign a license:
Click Customers.
Click Retrieve, or search on Customer/Application Record information and then click Retrieve. Your Customer list appears.
Select the Customer account you want to nmodify. The Application Record ID list appears.
In the Application Record ID list, click the Record ID link for the Application Record you want to modify. The Application Record Information screen appears.
Click the Unassign product link. The Active Products lists appears displaying all products available for unassignment.
In the Destination Application Record list, select the Application Record ID from which you want to unassign the license(s).
In the Unassign text box, enter the quantity to unassign and then click Confirm.
In the Reason: text box, enter the reason for the unassignment and click Next. A confirmation screen appears.
To confirm the unassignment, click Confirm. The Unassign confirmation screen appears and lists the new status of the product(s).
