You can move (re-assign) licenses around a user solution. (For example, if users move to a different location in a building that uses multiple MiVoice Business systems, their telephones may need to be connected to a different system. Re-assignment allows the phone licenses to be moved to the new system as long as they both belong to the same Customer.)
Note: Your ability to re-assign licenses depends on your activation method. Re-assignment is only available to online activated systems.
To re-assign a license:
Click Customers.
Click Submit, or search on Customer/Application Record information and then click Submit. Your Customer list appears.
To select the Customer
account you want to modify, click the List Application record
icon of the end customer. The list
of Application Record ID’s will appear.
In the Application Record ID list, click the Record ID link for the Application Record you want to modify. The Application Record Information screen appears.
Click the Reassign product link.
In the Destination Application Record drop down list, select the Application Record ID to which you want to re-assign the license(s).
In the Reassign text box, enter the quantity to reassign and then click Confirm.
In the Reason: text box, enter the reason for the reassignment and click Next. A confirmation screen appears listing the source and destination Application Records.
To confirm the reassignment, click Confirm. The Reassign confirmation screen appears and lists the new status of the product(s).
Note: Re-assignment availability is indicated by the highlight colour applied to the product listing.
